It just starts sometimes for no reason, if I’m out it’s is so embarrassing , it’s depressing me as I no longer look forward to social events and find it’s really affecting my life. I have a family wedding in July which I am dreading because of it. All necklines of clothes get soaked . I am so aware of it all the time and feel very anxious. I haven’t discussed this with a dr. I find it very embarrassing.

Mine starts on my head and can actually feel it spreading out within my hair (like a puddle eh water getting bigger) then it's as though the moment it starts between fringe n brow line a sudden showers switch on using maximum pressure, within a minute (2 at most) I drenched(no joke when a say head 2 toe) what's worse this can last for as long as it decides it wants to stop, the longest it's lasted was at least 30 odd hrs continuos. I get hot flashes continuously, which always comes with going red and sweating so bad my clothes soak in minutes. If it's chilly outside steam will actually come off my head. Been tested for so many things and seen soo many doctors who have all given up on me even though they've seen it. My head and face are the worst though. It's a constant drip, it's ridiculous. I hate leaving my house. Anyone deal with something similar? Also im 26 years old 5'0 tall 220lbs.

Has anyone heard that the medication used for treating hyperhidrosis can lead to memory loss. This is what my dermatologist told me. I’m 71 so worried about this possible side effect

My body temperature seems to just run hot constantly to the point my partner and i sometimes sleep with a sheet between us as im too hot to touch is this a symptom of hyperhiddosis
I do also sweat quite a lot and am often quite embarrassed especially when out. Not from everywhere but generally my body is just hot and then my face starts dripping to the point of having to carry a facewasher everywhere

I've had hyperhidrosis for more than 15 years. I find most Dr's don't know anything about it. I did try the med. (can't remember the name) it didn't help much and it made me feel weird. I have been on different help sites and it's pretty much the same questions with really no solutions.
