It just starts sometimes for no reason, if I’m out it’s is so embarrassing , it’s depressing me as I no longer look forward to social events and find it’s really affecting my life. I have a family wedding in July which I am dreading because of it. All necklines of clothes get soaked . I am so aware of it all the time and feel very anxious. I haven’t discussed this with a dr. I find it very embarrassing.
Thankyou so much . You have been very helpful
I get hot flashes continuously, which always comes with going red and sweating so bad my clothes soak in minutes. If it's chilly outside steam will actually come off my head. Been tested for so many things and seen soo many doctors who have all given up on me even though they've seen it. My head and face are the worst though. It's a constant drip, it's ridiculous. I hate leaving my house. Anyone deal with something similar? Also im 26 years old 5'0 tall 220lbs.
Thank god you folks are here I thought I was the only one who couldn’t wear makeup or go to certain events My head is like a leaky faucet, drip drip drip soooo embarrassing.
Recently was seen by a retired OB-GYN.. was filling in for my Md was on vacation.. he recommended.. antifungal powdered spray.. for my groin area to prevent sweating which had been leading to yeast… read more
My husband is diabetic and feel the cold very easily. I know some of you live in fear of summer and hot weather, I hate winter in our house ( in the North of England) because the heating is always turned up day and night. I do take Propantheline bromide aka pro banthine, which works very well under normal circumstances, but the temperature in my house at the moment is 28 degrees, and it's knocking me out, I wake up mornings wet through, and am constantly falling asleep because it's too hot… read more
Yes Fiona, most of my sweating is from the head but I do get slight sweating on the rest of my body, Pro banthine does help tremendously, but I'm not sure about age limits for children and young… read more
I did not have a problem with excessive sweating until I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted with a battery in my spine and back. I turned the stimulator off for about two weeks, but it made no difference so I turned it back on. As I am typing this, my neck, shoulders, back and head are sweating and feel like there is a thin layer of ice covering the sweat, making me very cold even though it is 70 degrees in this room. I know that spinal cord injuries can cause sweating and I'm wondering if… read more
Especially in summer I sweat on my head and neck a lot. Then I get sweat pimples that itch and even fill with puss. And they even come out on my face, around my ears and neck. Then I itch and I scratch.. my fermi has me on a low dose antibiotic, and it’s forever! He says it’s a form of psoriasis or eczema. !
Yes, my Fiancé has the same problem and that's what I thought it was, psoriasis! I'm glad to read your post. I really would like to get the books that they talk about, but don't know where to go.
Menopause is a hard one. For me anyway _ very emotional. Best of luck 🌿🌱
I have hyperhydrosis but just in my scalp. I can hardly stand it. My head sweats so bad I look like I just got out of the shower,
I know that feeling just making my bed makes me sweat.
Hi, I have been suffering from this for years, and Dr's always put it down to pain meds for fibromyalgia, only now finding out it's nothing to do with it. I hate it so much and am so embarrassed by… read more
I've had hyperhidrosis for more than 15 years. I find most Dr's don't know anything about it. I did try the med. (can't remember the name) it didn't help much and it made me feel weird. I have been on different help sites and it's pretty much the same questions with really no solutions.
