Hyperhidrosis treatments can be bewildering, ranging from prescription medications to surgeries and alternative therapies like acupuncture. It helps to compare treatment experiences with others who understand what you go through.

Here are a few threads about treatments:

For as long as I can remember, hyperhidrosis has been an issue for me. I'm trying acupuncture now.

Have you tried any treatments? I found a brand of clothing that helps with wicking.

I also have had hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember. I had a sympathectomy when I was 18 to stop the sweating on palms of my hands which worked well. However, I also sweat practically everywhere else on my body.

Hi, I noticed you stated your hyperhidrosis is primary, I have secondary hyperhidrosis, went to Toronto sweat clinic, they said with primary they could do surgery to cut the nerves to the sweat glands in hands and armpits.
