I tried Iontopheresis (for my hands and feet) and whilst this worked it didn’t completly stop the sweating so my dermatologist recommended botox. I could only have it in my hands and it only worked for 2 months. I have also tried medication but it made my mouth so dry i had to stop. What other treatments are available? And what treatments have people found to be the most effective?
Do u need a prescription for that.
My doctor just keeps telling me the sweats are from menopause. But I swear EVERY single day. Nevermind all night too. I am getting so frustrated cuz I can't even go out. I can't do anything without people asking if I am ok. Even my leg and ankles are swelling so badly now I can hardly walk which makes my sweats even worse cuz walking takes so much more effort. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!
Still waiting on Drs diagnosis. Like you 'it's menopause' is usually the result. Only one that called it HH was a chinese herbalist. I literally cried when he said it ...
Hello, I’m wondering how many of you had taken Oxybutyinfor there sweats and what dose did you start at and what dose are you on now? Also how long did you notice it start working?
Clonidine 1.5 mg is helping me a lot. I had Botox
On underarm area, also good, but caused more sweating under breasts.

I have always been a extreme sweater. My Mother, Father and Grandfather have too. I recently was prescribed an antidepressant that finally works. After years of trying numerous scripts that never worked. I finally have found help with despression but my sweating has increased to the level it's interfering with my quality of life. I do a warm sweaty mess ðŸ˜
It starts on the back of head neck area. The droplets begin to start running down my back. I hate it. It makes me so self conscious. I want to scream and go hide from everyone.
I shave the back of my head where I sweat from.
