What Are The Best Treatments For Hyperhydrosis?

What Are The Best Treatments For Hyperhydrosis?

I tried Iontopheresis (for my hands and feet) and whilst this worked it didn’t completly stop the sweating so my dermatologist recommended botox. I could only have it in my hands and it only worked for 2 months. I have also tried medication but it made my mouth so dry i had to stop. What other treatments are available? And what treatments have people found to be the most effective?

How Can I Find A Doctor To Help Me With This?

My doctor just keeps telling me the sweats are from menopause. But I swear EVERY single day. Nevermind all night too. I am getting so frustrated cuz I can't even go out. I can't do anything without people asking if I am ok. Even my leg and ankles are swelling so badly now I can hardly walk which makes my sweats even worse cuz walking takes so much more effort. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!

How Do I Get My Point Across To My Doctor?

How Do I Get My Point Across To My Doctor?

I have always been a extreme sweater. My Mother, Father and Grandfather have too. I recently was prescribed an antidepressant that finally works. After years of trying numerous scripts that never worked. I finally have found help with despression but my sweating has increased to the level it's interfering with my quality of life. I was given clonidine first for the sweating with no success. It only bottomed out my blood pressure to 89/58. Then was prescribed gabapentin… read more
