I sweat a lot and it affects my everyday life. When I go to someone's house or go to school I have to wear cardigans or dark colors to cover it up. It's embarrassing and I hate it. I want to get a clinically proven deodorant. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which one works best for them. I think's I'm going to get the clinically proven from Dove and Secret and see which one works best. Any suggestions? Also, I would love to hear other's stories and how they coped and found treatment.

I tried Iontopheresis (for my hands and feet) and whilst this worked it didn’t completly stop the sweating so my dermatologist recommended botox. I could only have it in my hands and it only worked for 2 months. I have also tried medication but it made my mouth so dry i had to stop. What other treatments are available? And what treatments have people found to be the most effective?
My doctor just keeps telling me the sweats are from menopause. But I swear EVERY single day. Nevermind all night too. I am getting so frustrated cuz I can't even go out. I can't do anything without people asking if I am ok. Even my leg and ankles are swelling so badly now I can hardly walk which makes my sweats even worse cuz walking takes so much more effort. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!

I have always been a extreme sweater. My Mother, Father and Grandfather have too. I recently was prescribed an antidepressant that finally works. After years of trying numerous scripts that never worked. I finally have found help with despression but my sweating has increased to the level it's interfering with my quality of life. I was given clonidine first for the sweating with no success. It only bottomed out my blood pressure to 89/58. Then was prescribed gabapentin which I refused to take… read more
