I've had hyperhidrosis for more than 15 years. I find most Dr's don't know anything about it. I did try the med. (can't remember the name) it didn't help much and it made me feel weird. I have been on different help sites and it's pretty much the same questions with really no solutions.

I did not have a problem with excessive sweating until I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted with a battery in my spine and back. I turned the stimulator off for about two weeks, but it made no difference so I turned it back on. As I am typing this, my neck, shoulders, back and head are sweating and feel like there is a thin layer of ice covering the sweat, making me very cold even though it is 70 degrees in this room. I sweat as soon as I get up go shower then sweets n need another shower I'm not coping with all this constant being wet
