Members shared their varied experiences with propantheline bromide for hyperhidrosis, with many describing it as life-changing despite side effects like dry mouth, dizziness, difficulty urinating, fuzzy vision, and trouble swallowing. Several members offered practical tips, including taking the medication an hour before food or at bedtime, sucking on sweets or drinking water for dry mouth, placing a wet towel around the neck or soaking feet in cool water for relief, and adjusting timing or dosage as needed throughout the day. A recurring theme was how differently the medication affects each person, the challenge of finding doctors who take hyperhidrosis seriously, and the emotional relief of finally having something that works after years of isolation and embarrassment.

Hi,l take as and when needed, but usually take one at bedtime helps me from getting up with damp head also put towel on my plow as its memory foam, l take propanthaline 15mg and suck a sweet or drink water for dry mouth,l can cope with drymouth more than wet head neck.if l put a wet towel around neck it helps also or put feet in bowl cool water obviously you can only do this at home.for me the tablets have been a life changer used to cry with embarrasement before.its taken me 42yrs to get a doctor to take this seriously and that was because it happened when l was at surgery.always dismissed it before.
