I've been like this since I was 12, so I'd rather say my life just evolved with these things happening all along. Like changing my clothes often, or being picky about what I wear or eat. If anything has 'changed' it just that I'm even more stubborn about what I know works for me, and that puts some people off. Otherwise, I can't say it necessarily changed anything.
I've had excessive sweating since I was 10, as a child it gave me very low self esteem, now as an adult it's given me the opportunity to speak out about medical issues and advocate for myself and my clients (I am a PSW) it has made my job difficult because I'm often soaked in sweat and have an odor, I change my clothes every 2hrs or less which makes for a very high water bill, I do a load of laundry for myself everyday. I also try to do split shifts so I'm not working for more than 5hrs at a time so I can return home and shower atleast 3times a day. Noone gets it, I constantly get told at work that I need to amp up my deodorant which is very embarrassing and my work is a scent free environment so I can't even use perfume.
I shower a lot due to body odor.
