I'm always hot, but had been sweating like crazy over a few months. The doctor seems not to care when I mention it. Is there any way, form, treatment I can use to feel relief? This completely changed my life. I am very aware of the constant sweating and feel ashamed to go out or even receiving visitors since no one seems to understand and tell me is menopause. I sweat mostly my head and face, get red, getting rashes under my breast and bikini line, vaginal infections since I get completely… read more

It just starts sometimes for no reason, if I’m out it’s is so embarrassing , it’s depressing me as I no longer look forward to social events and find it’s really affecting my life. I have a family wedding in July which I am dreading because of it. All necklines of clothes get soaked . I am so aware of it all the time and feel very anxious. I haven’t discussed this with a dr. I find it very embarrassing.
Thankyou so much . You have been very helpful

Which medications was your dermatologist talking about? I had not heard this yet but I too am interested.
I did not have a problem with excessive sweating until I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted with a battery in my spine and back. I turned the stimulator off for about two weeks, but it made no difference so I turned it back on. As I am typing this, my neck, shoulders, back and head are sweating and feel like there is a thin layer of ice covering the sweat, making me very cold even though it is 70 degrees in this room. I know that spinal cord injuries can cause sweating and I'm wondering if… read more
Has anyone ever had hormone testing for hyperhydrosis
I had a hysterectomy at age 39 so my sweating is not from menopause
It started when I was about 45 and am 65 now.
Mine is mostly my head and face.
I am born and always lived in Florida so humidity and heat have always been in my world.
I do not have excessive tension, ptsd or any of the other things mentioned here that might contribute to it.

My daughter suggested this to me so I approached my doctor. I thought that at 71 I was too old for HRT, however my doctor has agreed to it once my blood pressure settles down. Fingers crossed.
Hi, I have been suffering from this for years, and Dr's always put it down to pain meds for fibromyalgia, only now finding out it's nothing to do with it. I hate it so much and am so embarrassed by… read more
I feel that I have never come out of the menopause, however I started on antidepressants around what should have been close to the end of the menopause and wonder if this might be responsible for the continued symptoms
